At Sinclair & Rush, we’re proud to support our local community, and one of our recent partnerships brings together both wellbeing and charitable giving. We are delighted to announce our tee sponsorship of the 3rd hole at Gillingham Golf Club, reinforcing our commitment to grassroots sport and local engagement.

This long-term partnership not only strengthens ties within the community but also provides great opportunities for staff, customers, and suppliers to enjoy time on the course throughout the year. David, our Sales Team Leader, shared his thoughts:

“We’re keen to promote wellbeing and exercise across our team, and this partnership allows us to do just that. We look forward to meeting many of you on the fairways and building a lasting relationship with the club.”

As part of this growing connection, Nathan and Tom from our Sales Team recently took part in the Macmillan Longest Day Golf Challenge, hosted at Gillingham Golf Club. On 20th June, the pair completed four full rounds of golf — covering more than 23 miles and clocking over 50,000 steps — all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Their dedication raised over £2,000, with generous support from customers, colleagues, and suppliers. Reflecting on the day, Nathan commented:

“The day went brilliantly, with plenty of support from guests and club members. We finished in just under 15 and a half hours — with some seriously tired legs! Huge thanks to everyone who sponsored us, Duckling Golf for donating the balls, and Gillingham Golf Club for being such great hosts.”

We’re incredibly proud of our team for their efforts and grateful to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success. Whether through sponsorship, sport, or fundraising, Sinclair & Rush remain committed to supporting health, wellbeing, and our local community.
