Sinclair & Rush, Inc., through its VisiPak division, has successfully completed the acquisition of the assets of Tulox Plastics Corporation, based in Marion, Indiana — a long-established manufacturer of clear plastic packaging containers.

This strategic move by VisiPak, a leading producer of clear packaging products, enhances its current range of plastic tube containers by introducing new shapes, sizes, and closure styles. As part of the acquisition, production at the Indiana facility will be transferred to VisiPak’s manufacturing sites in St. Louis, Missouri, and Carlstadt, New Jersey, enabling the company to better serve its customer base across North America.

“This acquisition aligns directly with our long-term strategies to expand product offerings and broaden market reach,” said Brad Philip, President and COO of Sinclair & Rush, Inc. He continued: “The synergies created allow us to offer the most comprehensive line of packaging products and related services—from concept to completion—of anyone in the industry.”

A further benefit of the acquisition is that customers of Tulox Plastics will now gain access to VisiPak’s complete packaging portfolio. This includes its own range of plastic containers, clear folding cartons, and flexible vinyl caps, as well as thermoformed products such as plastic clamshell packaging, blister packs, and packaging trays.

VisiPak will continue to provide value-added services including decorating, design, contract packaging, assembly, and fulfilment at its US-based manufacturing facilities.

Jeff Barket, Director of Sales and Marketing for Sinclair & Rush, Inc., stated, “VisiPak and Tulox Plastics share several key fundamentals, such as a vision for differentiated growth in the marketplace, strong technology platforms, and a high performance culture committed to operational excellence and providing quality products. Through this acquisition, we expect to accelerate our growth efforts and expand our presence as one of the largest plastic container manufacturers in North America.”

Both the St. Louis and Carlstadt locations will continue to operate manufacturing facilities that utilise extrusion, thermoforming and injection moulding processes. For more information about VisiPak and its clear plastic packaging offerings, please visit http://www.visipak.com.
