At Sinclair & Rush, our people are the heart of our success. Their strength, dedication and compassion are what drive our 5-star service—and we love celebrating their achievements.
This week, we’re proud to share the story of Polly, a valued member of our Customer Services team for over 13 years, who is taking part in a meaningful fundraiser for the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS).
The event, called “50k in May,” encourages participants to walk, run or roll 50 kilometres over the course of May. It's an inclusive challenge open to all abilities and fitness levels, designed to promote community, movement, and awareness.
Polly and her husband Ashley are parents to three beautiful daughters—Florence, Hattie and Mabel. Both Hattie and Mabel have hearing loss and wear hearing aids. The NDCS has offered the family incredible support over the years, and now Polly is eager to give back by raising funds through this challenge.
“The National Deaf Children’s Society has been a big part of our life and has helped us so much! We would love to raise as much money for this lovely charity who has helped us and our children. Any donation is appreciated.” – Polly
About the National Deaf Children’s Society
Founded over 70 years ago by a group of parents, the NDCS is now a national charity that provides expert advice and support for childhood deafness. Their mission is to break down barriers and ensure deaf children have the same opportunities as everyone else. Their work includes helplines, accessible resources, community engagement, and national campaigning.
