Vejle Municipality recently faced an unexpected challenge while constructing a new access road and temporary car park for a local business. Following heavy rainfall during the land surveying phase, it became clear that the subsoil was too soft to support the original construction plans.

After exploring alternative options, the team identified Turf Mesh as the most effective and economical solution. Designed to reinforce unstable ground conditions, the mesh was laid directly on top of the soft sub-surface to stabilise the area, enabling safe access for heavy vehicles.

The temporary nature of the car park presented an additional challenge. Traditional materials like asphalt were unsuitable due to cost and removal complexity.
