Crossgoal™ Training Net. Castors Puncture Proof Wheels

Crossgoal™ | Football Coaching Equipment.

Bill Elleray manufactures this niche product “Crossgoal” for a very special market, premier league football. A specialist piece of equipment that has been used in Premier League Club world matches. Only our best speciality castors can be put on the grass as a very expensive hybrid surface is put on top of the grass, it is essentially grass in a plastic membrane with real grass nutrients that means the grass grows rapidly and must be cut daily, even on Christmas day! The pitch itself costs millions of pounds so only the top equipment can be used. Our Castors with Puncture Proof Wheels use fabricated zinc plated brackets for strength but also keep the unit weight down. They are highly durable, require low maintenance and are easily mounted using the attached plate. Our castors have been approved as acceptable by the Groundsmen at premier league football to go on top of this super grass. Our castors play an important part in the finishing of this product as this is what touches the speciality grass and it has to withstand 100kg of weight.

Bill has been running his business Football Coaching Equipment Ltd for around 6 years. He is highly skilled in the mechanical side of things with this equipment and passionate about football and his product! Bill has designed, manufactured, and assembled this piece of equipment himself but he uses 3rd parties for the Laser Cutting and CNC machine.

The Hybrid surface at the Premier League training ground costs a huge amount of money and is vital in the preparation process of world matches. It is paramount that the choice of castors is also of the best quality and they would not be successful in the vetting process if not. Under no circumstances can the Hybrid surface be damaged. In current times, groundsmen are trained up to BSc in turf technology and each of these surfaces costs in the region of £1M. They usually have two of these, one in the main stadium and an exact copy in the training ground. Our castors meet the requirements so are used in both stadiums and assist greatly in the process of making this product.

For the start of season 2023/24, Bill will be rolling out a new product that will be used on Hybrid pitches, his most recent order is for use on the prototype in which I'll be using 2x fixed wheel castors and 2x 360° castors, this wheel arrangement will allow accurate positioning without undue stress on the pitch surface.

Professional football training sessions are meticulously prepared to impart the maximum benefit to players and the outcome of the match results, The Crossgoal plays a huge part in this.

CROSSGOAL™ is used by professional football Set-Piece Coaches to train technique in high speed, low trajectory corner delivery. Pre-training before assembling a full-squad training session creates maximum use of training time due to crossing accuracy. Also, CROSSGOAL™ gives the performance data of each set-piece player in the chosen corner deliveries.
