Component Expert Daryll Nominated for YMCA Award

It’s been a great year thus far for Component Force in the awards arena. With a KEiBA award under our belt and the prospect of another two from West Kent Business Awards due in October we have a lot to shout about. Our canon of award nominations has been stretched to now include individual team members.

It’s with a great sense of pride that I can inform you all that Daryll has been nominated for the Learners Award by the YMCA Training Center in Chatham. Set up to help people find employment the charity worked vigorously with Daryll to get him back onto his feet and into employment. Daryll was to be the epitome of a success story and a real inspiration to others.

Daryll was a customer of the training center between February and May of this year. After being made redundant from his previous sales job selling caravans.

“The centre really helped me by listening to my needs and helping me with finding a new job with modules designed to help in all the different aspects of finding work from CV building to interview techniques. The centre put me on a 4 week placement at Component Force to trial me in the job. Thankfully my placement went really well and I’m now a fully fledged member of the sales team. Following this success the centre put me forward as their sole representative for this award.”

I’d like to wish Daryll the best of luck from everyone at Component Force. The awards ceremony is due to be held in Westminster, London in late October.
